Boucle autour d’Angers

Holiday breaks

By lav, on 24/08/2011

Setting out from the centre of Angers, follow the signposts and cross the river Maine via the Pont de la Basse Chaîne. The rest of the route follows the path of the river, then winds along the banks of the Lac du Maine. Great views of Angers. From Bouchemaine, cross the Maine and continue to Les-Pons-de-Cé, a former port, and then La Daguenière. Return to Angers via the historic slate-mining region, an other-worldy landscape shaped by 600 years of mining.

  • Distance : 45 km
  • Duration of the trail : 4 h 30
