From Candé-sur-Beuvron, follow the Beuvron until it flows into the Loire. The route takes you as far as the château of Chaumont-sur-Loire, along a picturesque little road which leads through the woods. After a stretch along the banks of the Loire, a short climb will bring you to Rilly-sur-Loire. From there, a temporary route takes you across plateau to the high ground overlooking Ambroise. Enjoy the view from the observation point, with its useful information table, before following in the footsteps of Leonardo Da Vinci to reach his former home of Clos Luré.
