What it’s all about?
Between Orléans and Le Croisic, the Centre and Pays de la Loire Regions we propose you a service of specially equipped cars on Interloire-trains** in order to transport your bike safe and effortlessly.
How does it work?
On the day of the trip, go to the nearest train station equipped with your ticket. There an employee of the SNCF will be waiting on the train to load, stow and unload your bike at the desired destination onto the Loire à Vélo itinerary.
As this service is free, booking is not required.
Now, all you have to do is jump on your bike and start the 800km long cycle route which will lead you along the longest/last wild river of Europe that has been untouched, La Loire. You will be passing an amazing and fascinating natural landscape stretching as far as the eye can see – the Loire Valley.
A free-of-charge service specially designed for your bikes on the Interloire-trains (loading and unloading of the cycle cars within the number of places available).
