Le Lion-d’Angers / Mayenne: 105 km

This easy, safe route winds its way through an area of great natural beauty.

Step back in time, with this path previously used by the region’s sailors, and enjoy a relaxing ride along the banks of the river, controlled by 45 different locks. The route is littered with old windmills, locks and lively riverside villages, with a different surprise around every bend in the river.

Eventually, this trail will join the Loire à Vélo route at Angers to the national Paris/ Mont-Saint-Michel cycle road.
