Located in the heart of the medieval town of Beaugency, the Château de Beaugency is a surprising place. This 11th-century castle on the Loire was owned by the Lords of Beaugency, the Crown of France and then the Dukes of Orléans. Today, it has been transformed into a Centre d’Art Numérique, one of France’s leading cultural venues for digital art.
A luminous, poetic universe awaits you, where medieval and Renaissance architecture is revealed through pixels. For young and old alike, the digital art exhibition pushes back the boundaries of visual perception and offers a different take on heritage.
New for 2023: a new temporary exhibition entitled « Time travel: science in the Age of Enlightenment ».
